We also strive to take proactive measures that prevent down-time, stress, and financial loss due to sudden technical problems.

  • Initial system and automated process setup are the most labor intensive
  • Initial setup and modifications of server and network devices are more critical because multiple users or all users may be effected
  • Regular maintenance tasks include:
    • Necessary and normal software, security, and process updates
    • Related minor configuration updates
    • System stability and performance monitoring
  • Tasks excluded from regular maintenance include:
    • Optional modifications requested by client-friends
    • Development, modification, and change implementation to disaster recovery plans and processes
    • Additional work required to troubleshoot errors and obstacles beyond the control of osl8
    • Abnormal work required to fix problems arising from “wear and tear” of aging systems and changing conditions
  • As many services as possible will be performed remotely (especially maintenance)
  • Response times to issues will vary and will be prioritized based on urgency and availability to serve
Whenever and however possible osl8 will do its best to anticipate failing components or systems and notify you—our client-friend—of the impending work and expenses (monetary and potential work interruptions) associated with such maintenance tasks. As the old saying goes:
